Behind the Singing Christmas Tree stands a long-serving, dedicated team of organisers, choir supervisors, sound engineers, craftspeople and many other Christmas market staff. Their commitment makes this unique Christmas event possible. Our team now numbers more than 50 employees.
The lawyer and entrepreneur has run the Büro für Kulturpromotion in Zurich since 1990. He brings singing back into schools and creates singing platforms for children and young people – inspiring more than 50,000 children so far. His motto: culture is what comes tomorrow!

A helper at the Singing Christmas Tree since 2011, he took over from his father Beat Seeberger in 2017. The ICT systems engineer and self-employed business IT specialist supports the team in word and deed and is responsible for running the Christmas market.

Sabrina has been a mainstay of sct event for many years and, since 2023, a partner and member of the management team. Visitors to the Singing Christmas Tree see the stage, the lights and the voices – Sabrina makes sure all of it comes together reliably every single day. She coordinates the choirs, keeps in touch with them, plans assignments and work schedules, organises processes behind the scenes and keeps an eye on the numbers too. What sets her work apart is a calm blend of clarity and people skills: Sabrina listens, decides pragmatically and stays composed even when things get hectic outside.
Robin Diethelm is the all-rounder at every event and a true engine of innovation. A trained carpenter and experienced site manager, he skilfully combines his craftsmanship with event experience. Always with a smile on his face, he makes sure every build runs smoothly and all the wooden structures are executed perfectly. Since 2023 Robin has also officially been a partner and member of the management team. He is constantly looking for new ways to make set-up, operations and problem-solving even smarter – a true problem-solver with heart and mind.
The “three-dimensional designer” was responsible for the design and operation of the Christmas market. With his ideas and city campaigns he brought joy to many people – for example with the Zurich cows, benches or teddies. The Christmas lights above Löwenstrasse with PET-bottle stars were among his projects too. Beat Seeberger passed away unexpectedly in May 2017, leaving a great gap as an organiser and team friend. The Singing Christmas Tree and Christmas market team will honour his memory and continue the event entirely in the spirit of its co-founder.
